Was ist Sozialismus einfach erklärt?
Sozialismus umfasst Ideologien, die darauf abzielen, den Kapitalismus zu überwinden und die Arbeiterklasse von Armut und Unterdrückung zu befreien. Es wird eine Gesellschaftsordnung gefördert, die auf Prinzipien wie Gleichheit, Solidarität und Emanzipation basiert und die soziale Frage in den Fokus rückt.

Ab sofort durfte nur mehr jemand, der demokratisch gewählt wurde, Macht auf andere ausüben. Parallel dazu entstand 1863 auch die Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (SPD).

Gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde der demokratische Sozialismus von der Arbeiterschaft und den Gewerkschaften eingeführt. Die Idee war, durch schrittweise Veränderungen, die wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Verhältnisse und damit die Lebensbedingungen der Menschen zu verbessern.
