Why are players too soft now?

Back in the days, players used to be rough, tough and bold in how they play. They can take and give hard tackles without whining about it. But in today's football, any slight touch, players will be rolling and wailing on the floor. They are behaving like bunch of cry babies.

On my own perspective, I think they are trying to play safe. Nobody wants to go home with injuries and if it eventually happens, that's when they will start crying like babies. Our ancestors that play football were as hard as rock and they saw football as a passion but nowadays footballers are just doing it for money and skills.

When you take advantage of the rules, you didn't do anything wrong because when you do something absolutely against the rule, you're going to be punished for it.

I blame the media . They have been making it look like these guys are not really strong, and it is strange. These guys work and should be let to do their work.

Technology has made it so. A lot of physios are now making it look like players going stronger will affect them in the long run.

When he compares baseball players today and baseball players back in the day, he said the players today are soft. He said the baseball players of old wouldn't get paid if they didn't play so they had to play through injuries and stuff. Now, the players get "guaranteed money" or whatever it's call so they can get away with not playing if they don't feel good.

This is interesting. Nowadays, players take big pay while ending up doing nothing at the end of the day. In fact, when you ask them to get better, they end up playing worse.
