We all know that the world of sports now is a money spinner. So many sports athletes make "crazy money" and most sportsmen are billionaires in dollars.

But among all the sports which include basketball, American football, golf, soccer and the many sports, which of them pays most that even average players are guaranteed financial security?

When it comes to these sports, once you are able to score yourself a team, even the average player is guaranteed a good paycheck. I used to think golf was the highest paid, but after doing a little search, it seems the highest paying sports would go to basketball.

In India it's cricket only and it's so much money that you don't need to do any more thing to earn.

I think that it is definitely going to be football that is the sports that pays players more. When you look at the amount of money Saudi Arabia is paying players that are playing in Saudi League, you will understand what I'm trying to say.

It can only be football. Others may be paying but I haven't seen the one that pay as huge sum like football. People have win lots for money from betting both virtual and otherwise. Check the players and see how much they earn.

It's definitely football without any doubt. Footballer sign from 3 years contract upwards and they are paid every week irrespective of whether they are playing or not. Even if they have injury for 3 years, they still get paid.

You are correct. Most of the top 20 richest athletes are footballers, and that says much about how much money that they make in the sports.

If not for circumstances, I would have been among those collecting money like these people😂. Maybe in my next world, I will be a footballer.

Spot on! I couldn't break into the football industry but I'm definitely going to make sure that my son do because these footballers are packing money in big bags for playing in their respective clubs. I don't mind him going to play in Saudi Arabia.

Baseball, soccer, football and boxing are the sports that pay their athletes the most.

I don't have much knowledge about how the pay for baseball players looks like. But as for football and boxing, they are both paying very well. I wouldn't do UFC because it's pays so poor compared to the beating fighters take.

I would say that it is football. The sport has made a lot of players rich and made for life!

I would have thought it would have been Football (I'm talking about American Football, not soccer).

Football seems to be the one that is widely publicized or more publicized than other sports.

Soccer is reigning although I am yet to truly understand how they get to make a whole lot of money at the end of the day to pay these players.
