What's the most expensive thing you've purchased this year?

The most expensive thing I have purchased this year is a designer shoe. I got it for $70 as it was an absolute necessity, so I can be using them for public events. I was hesitant to buy it because it sounded quite expensive but I know with it's quality, it would serve me for long.

The most expensive purchase I've made so far this year was a new laptop for work and personal use. After my old one finally gave out, I did extensive research to find a high-quality yet reasonably priced model that could handle my computing needs.

This year we moved to another house so we bought some furniture because the owner left us an incomplete set. The most expensive thing I bought was a refrigerator for $500. And also a TV for 150 and a washing machine for 700 dollars

I got a new sofa this year and it costed a lot. Good thing I'm paying on EMI so I don't need to pay all amount in 1 go

The things I have bough this year are much expensive than they are last year. In fact, I can say everything I bought starting from sandals, shoes and clothes are way much costly than before.

To me, everything is costly and none is even more cheaper than the other. All are competing to be costlier than the other.
