Static stretching involves holding a stretch in a stationary position for a set period of time, whereas dynamic stretching involves moving through a range of motion in a controlled manner. Dynamic stretching is typically done before exercise to warm up the muscles, while static stretching is done after exercise to improve flexibility and cool down the body.

The difference between static and dynamic stretching is self-explanatory because it means that one of them is something that you do in a stationary position without moving most of your body parts but the other one which is dynamics stretching; it's something that involves moving other parts of your body when you are stretching.

Static stretching is when you stretch and stay in the same position for like 20 seconds. Dynamic stretching on the other hand is repeated stretch movements. Static stretching builds endurance while dynamic stretching builds motion consistency. They both help in different aspects of workouts.

Static stretching involves holding a stretch for a period of time, usually 15-30 seconds, to lengthen the muscle and improve flexibility. Dynamic stretching, on the other hand, involves moving your joints through a range of motion while keeping your muscles active, mimicking the movements you'll use during your activity or sport.
