Daily Threads The most expensive thing you bought today?

The most expensive thing I bought today was two bottles of Pepsi Max.

The most expensive thing i have bought today is two raw eggs. Today is Sunday, so i haven't had anytime to go out. We just closed from church, am getting ready to eat.
Are egg prices high where you live? I know in some places they are extortionate.
