A 35-year-old Seattle man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of his nine-month-old son, and is being held on $5 million bail.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the man, 35, told police he had used the drug phencyclidine, commonly known as PCP or angel dust, that day.

It's not the cool message these days, but the problem with making drugs legal is the association with violence, and it's especially disturbing when it involves child abuse. Well, do you feel a libertarian view of drugs can ever be realized, considering drugs simply cannot exist in society without harming innocents or magnifying violence among the non-innocent?

How can I like this post 10 times? It is those who don't have the balls to face their problems that resort to drugs and overdrinking, thinking it will solve the problem.

You said it all and I love your comments. Drugs can only mar or break you. There's never something good coming from that side. Why should a man kill his son and blame it on drugs. That's very bad in which way we talk about it.

I am for banning all sorts of recreational drugs, I am even for banning marijuana for recreational purpose. When people use drugs, they cannot think properly and they will get involved with crimes

If you give these people the opportunity to explain or give reasons why they take these drugs, they will be giving pointless reasons. Marijuana and other hard drugs need to be banned totally.

I support Marijuana for medical use but I do not support marijuana for recreational use. I do not support an recreational drugs. I even believe that cigarettes and alcohol also needs to be made illegal. More people die of complications related to tobacco and alcohol than form drugs.

The same people that are using it for recreational use will always say that it's for medical use. I think the misuse of marijuana made it impossible for people to believe what's the medical benefits of it. Every drugs need to be taken moderately to avoid losing lives.
