Video Game News Study Indicates Gamers Face Potential Irreversible Hearing Damage and Tinnitus Risk

I feel like this is unfairly adding gaming into the problem. The study should be that listening to high volumes causes hearing problems.

There are some of us that actually play without the big headsets. It is just normal TV sound for us, I suppose we are not among the scope of the study.

I do not accept this though, unless the gamer is playing the game with a headset and on high volume on a regular basis. I feel this is the only way it can cause hearing problems. Like myself most times when I play games, the volume is usually very low that even the next person might not hear it.
