Gaming Sony unveils the more powerful and pricier PlayStation 5 Pro

Sony has officially announced a more powerful—and significantly more expensive—version of its highly successful PlayStation 5 console.

The PS5 Pro will have enhanced graphics capabilities and deliver higher, more stable frame rates for the most demanding games, but this increased power comes with a hefty price tag: the PS5 Pro will be Sony's most expensive console to date. UK gamers can expect to pay £699.99 when the upgraded console launches on November 7.

Is this on anyone's wishlist? No doubt scalpers will snap up a large number and resell them at inflated prices. Does the lack of a physical drive bother you? Let us know.

This is not on my wishlist, more of an Xbox person than a PlayStation but I know a few people who are snapping this up. The price tag is quite high but people will buy so makes sense Sony would add a high price tag.

Scalpers will be on this as soon as it releases which will be a shame for those who genuinely want the console.
