PCB Sacked Wahab and Razzaq after dismal show in the T20 CWC 2024

Pakistan cricket board Sacked the both selectors Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq after its teams dismal performance in the T20 Cricket World cup and these rapid changes are not new for Pak cricket.

It seems we have a lot of cricket fans in this forum, cause I have been seeing multiple post and threads about this game for some time now. Maybe I might have to try watch some games to have a better understanding.

Majority of Indian, South East Asian fans are fond of cricket so it's expected in a forum where there are users from this continent.

It is nothing new for Pakistan team. Nothing going to happen even when they keep reputed coach for them , they are not going to improve untill they have discipline.

@Ginger that's true. Such things are expected from Pakistan. I wonder if the situation is not good in a country where the PM was Imran Khan, under whose captaincy Pakistan won the only World Cup. They need to eliminate corruption in sports.

Pakistan and corruption are like inseperable brothers. You cannot separate them from each other

Any country which is gripped by corruption cannot develop in any field. It's not surprising that their team is not doing well now a days in any of the major tournaments. They are happy to win from C grade teams.

I like to disagree with your statement. Even if they are not doing well in recent tournaments but they are a formidable unit and they have a good chance to do great in CT and Next T20 World cup

Let's see what they do in next WC. But I am never in a favour of Pakistan team. Except few players of the team feel pressure in the big tournaments. They look good on paper but don't play well on the ground.

They have the best team on paper. Even better than India and Pakistan. They are a dangerous side that can get on a role so quickly but their internal team politics don't let them play as per their ability

We can even expect babar sacked and they may look for a new captain and even shaheen was reprimanded for this behavior

I am not aware of Pakistans next matches and that's when we will find about their new team both playing and selection committee

@Ginger Babar is a good player but he is not a consistent player against the good teams. He lacks captaincy skills but what to do when they have problems in the team as they don't play as a unit.

Actually he's good but they start comparing their every good player with VKohli and then they start under performing because of the pressure

Babar Azam is technically good but most of the time he doesn't perform well in the tournaments. Whereas I like Mohammad Rizwan who is a good player and consistent. When he is on the crease there are always the chances of Pakistan winning the match.

Yes, Rizwan has done well and have played better than Babar because they are not comparing him with anyone whereas Babar was always compared with Kohli

I don't know why Babar is given so much hype when Rizwan play better than any other player of Pakistan

They somehow rate Babar higher than Rizwan and even Rizwan is not in form from past few matches that I have seen

PCB hasn't announced any new selection committee and this is making the media speculate and they are running multiple stories in news
