You will have noticed a significantly different look to Discussion Hub over the weekend. I felt like DH looked a little dull so I have made some changes.
Firstly, we have a new and improved logo, which also features our new slogan. Our new logo is a vector so you will not see any pixelation like on our previous logo.
Secondly, as I’ve already mentioned, we have a new slogan. The Hub For All Discussions felt a little too basic and was essentially a rewording of our name. I wanted something different that also stands out and Gateway To Conversations certainly has a better ring to it.
I have also replaced the Font Awesome node icons with old-school, colourful icons. The Font Awesome icons were too dull for my liking and the new icons certainly add a bit of life to the theme and restore the old-school feel of forums. The new icons are also vectors so you will not see any pixelation.
Lastly, I have modified the theme. The header background and node blocks are no longer filled with a pattern. Instead, the node block is now a very noticeable blue colour.
You may also notice some smaller changes across the forum to enhance the user experience. I will continue to make changes in the coming days and beyond to make your experience on Discussion Hub as good as possible.
Thank you so much for your continued support. It is incredible how far we have come in such a short space of time - we’re already 1500+ posts and 33 members strong, but this is only the beginning!
