On February 1, 2018, Nikolas Cruz killed 17 students and staff at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, and injured 17 others. Cruz was diagnosed as developmentally delayed at age three and had numerous disciplinary issues dating to middle school. From a young age, he started consuming marijuana heavily. He accounts that he would frequently “hear demon voices” and would consume large amount of marijuana to try and silence those voices. He also attempted suicide. During an interview after his mass shooting, he stated that he used “a lot of marijuana” as well as prescription tranquilizer Xanax [9,10].

I'm not advocating banning it, but I think the media downplays anti-pot propaganda. In fact, I have a hunch that a lot of violence is coming from weed. Well, even in this small town I lived in, some old man got road rage and killed someone in a Wal Mart parking lot.

My question is who are those that are pushing to legalize the use of marijuana? It is obvious that those are the people that end up committing crimes and put the blame on the drug.

I honestly think it should be banned, as it is now even our young ones are are now having easy access to it. A lot of young lives have been cut short due to this.

There's one young guy in my neighborhood that was found dead in his house a few days ago. what killed him? Drug overdose. There should be a complete ban on these things to curb wastage of lives.

Can you imagine, and the painful thing is that the person who introduced him would still be alive and doing well. It's well.

Goes to show that this life is different for everyone. Those that started abusing drugs years before him are still living fine. But once it got to his turn, death came knocking. Such is life.

Like there was a girl in school, one day they had to lock her in one of the classrooms cause she was running mad. From what I heard she took hard drugs, and her friends where the ones who introduced her to it.

I don't think that marijuana should be legalized. It should still be under control given the rate at which it is abused globally and it's effects on the normal physiological thinking of a person.

That's true, since it can still be used for medicine, approved by qualified doctors. Proper control needs to be done.

Despite that everybody knows the effects of marijuana and a lot of young lives engaged on it already but why is most of people knows it's effect but still engaged on it I don't think it should be legalized forever

The reason is simple, addiction. Most young people are addicted to it that even though they know it is wrong, they still can't help but do it.
