Without any doubt Joe Root is the #1 test batter and in the test match that is being played right now Joe root already scored his 2nd Test match of the game and is inching closer to Sachin Tendulkar's record of 50 Hundreds. He's so consistent.
 
Has he? I don't generally follow live matches of teams if India is not playing but Joe Root is at peak of his form now.
 
Joe Root is now nearing many records and with this hundred he has most 100s by an English batter
