It's a long weekend for many here.

It's Sunday night here. It's past 10 PM here but I am not in a rush to hit the pillow. Yay!! I don't have to go to work tomorrow. It's another long weekend for me. Well, the last weekend was also a long one. We had Independence day on Thursday, Vara mahalaxmi celebration on Friday. Tomorrow is Janamashtmi, the birthday celebration of Lord Krishna. I am happier because I get to stay home and enjoy some alone time while my husband and daughter go to office and college. Not all institutes have given the holiday.
I love to get long weekends. Well, we all do that. Shorter week at work is always welcome.

We have an off today on the occassion of Janmashtami. Yes, we have a long weekend this week and I am happy because these days we have lots of work pressure at workplace and stress.

@Sanjeev . Good that you got a long weekend too. It's good to keep getting such breaks from time to time. It does take off a bit of stress from your life. I hope that you had a good time with family and friends relaxing in this long weekend.

These kinds of long weekends used to be fun when I was doing paid employment. As a business person, this long weekends even if it might exist doesn't mean too much to me because I still have to work even through the weekends and holidays.

@King Belieal . I can understand. That's one con of being your own employer. You are never off duty. But then it comes with so much of rewards and sense of accomplishments that you are ready to let go off such little things.
