Is WhatsApp voice note a good invention?

Since WhatsApp brought the voicenote feature, it has received criticism, with some claiming that it is unnecessary and fosters laziness.
But I have to disagree. There are people who are always busy and multitasking on more than one job, so voicenote is an important means to send a message across without having to edit or delete.
What do you think of the voicenote feature? Do you use it?

Yes, it's a better option when one doesn't have the time to type it's better to do the voice message . I don't find it bad at all.

On a normal day I prefer typing, the only time I use it is if a chatting with someone close, so I just use it cause I want them to hear my voice, or I want to tell them something that is a little long, it would be quicker if I say it.

Okay. I mostly use voicenote when my hands are occupied with other things. Or when I'm tired of typing.

Yes i also use voice notes in situations like this too or when am trying to create some sort closeness with whoever am chatting with.

funny but that was not my intention though. Since they sent a voice note first it just makes it feel like I need to send them one in return.

Exactly, sometimes I feel like the person should just give me a call instead of all these back and forth voices, lol.

I will say a big YES. I am one person who feels that it's a blessing and I make use of it a few times in a day. I have to do a lot of coordination job in my personal and professional lives. I like to leave a voice note over typing such a big message. And I am glad that it actually carries the real emotions in the voice. Texts at times can be misleading. It really saves a lot of my time too

Yes, just before coming to this site, I sent two voice notes to my colleagues. It's about the meeting tomorrow that I have with them. I have briefed them about whar we will discuss and what kind of queries they can bring to the meeting. It's saved me a lot of time. Typing a message or mail would have been longer.
