I do not think that it is good, it will give a wrong idea to mens that any women on the street will be subject of relationship outside marriage and increase rate of crime because a women could simply refuse the purposal of this rude person so he uses his force to attend his objective.

That's why we have so many youths today who lack manners and think women are cheap things or everything is simply about money.

That sounds like messed up stuff. But that's mostly the story of all these young guys that are behind prison bars.

I believe that women should be taught on how to not give men like that attention in the first place, neither be enticed by their money.

You can't actually teach them though, it's more a matter of choice. This is why we have most women who are being self dependent. Getting jobs and all that so they won't have to do degrading things.

I think it's little bit awful because still some music can attach you emotionally actually I'm music love since long time and i thik today's music is awful because they only make music about money, power and success.

@rosakhail . I agree with you. You have beautifully presented your argument here. I think there was a variety in earlier eras too. But most people patronized good soulful music and the bad ones got lost. Times have changed and the tastes have changed too with time too. Not all modern music is awful, but yes good music is becoming less. And a big part of it is to do with availability of so many platforms and many with unpolished contents with no taste

Some people could have songs about something meaningful in life but not all of them, because most of them want something commercial to earn money fast and focus for subjects that grab attention of teenagers, if he is doing a song about respect of parents for example or this staff no one will be interested or minority of them.

@Monster Masterpiece . The morality and ethics of the society is definitely on a fall. Or not to use the harsh word that they are deteriorating, but definitely they are changing with times. Undoubtedly, modern times is more about materialism and consumerism. People don't consider ethics and morality much these days and are more for money making. They won't care what impact it would bring to the mindset of youths, whether the lyrics are objectifying women...they will just make it if it's going to get listeners and do a good business. Very few align with the morality and consciousness.

That's another problem. The reason these artistes keep dishing out substandard songs is because people listen to them more than the sensible ones. If everyone thrash those songs the artistes will come up with something better.

Yes, the moral compass of each generation gets a bit more liberal from the previous generation. This can be for good. But when it gets too loose and not having any control, it's going to bring some bad changes too in the society and for humanity.

Can't blame anyone. Teenage and young adults are very vulnerable. They might fall for any wrong trends and hero worship under peer pressure. They try hard to fit in the group and stay in trend. It's a tough phase in life. Sad that they have not many good examples to follow. Most bad examples become the trend. And more so like a viral thing in this era of digitalization and social media platforms. I feel sad. This is the teenage and young adult group that is the main target audience for these awful lyrics and awful music.
