How soon after the loss were you able to recover the data?

I lost my wallet only once in my life and it was not stolen from me, but I simply forgot it in public transport and although I tried to contact the dispatchers on the bus, it was no longer there. And in the wallet there were debit cards and a passport, and it was my worst loss because blocking the card and creating a new one is not so difficult, but with the passport it was very difficult because I had to sign a lot of documents that I really lost

There was one time I forgot my phone in a public transport. Though the luck I had was that it was the last bus stop and I was the very last person on the bus. The moment I remember I quickly ran back to the road, and lucky me the bus was about going back. I found the phone at the back seat.

Something of this nature happend to me and I was lucky that it was the last stop too and the driver took a break to eat. He found the wallet and traced me through my bank because the wallet had my ATM inside.

Losing one's wallet and phone can be very very terrifying. It happened to me some years ago, I was not able to recover it though. And since then I stopped using wallets. Because if I lose it, I basically lose everything.

Wow, you are also lucky the driver is someone reasonable. Some people even if they don't do anything with it, they don't have that time or strength to try and trace you back.
