How do you see the use of the portable WiFi gadgets?

In my country, l have seen the popularity on the usage of those gadgets. However l have a feeling that l should start the use for them. So my question is What is your experience with those kinds of devices.

I use one frequently when working remotely or during road trips to ensure I have reliable WiFi instead of burning through mobile data. While public WiFi is an option, I much prefer the privacy and consistency of my own portable WiFi when traveling or working out in the world.

Actually same here in region I have seen many using it rather than mobile network but I haven't give a try because my device offers 5g network but I think I might give a try in these there future.
