It affects a lot of people and probably most aren't gay. In fact, people can't match up to gender roles and so have social difficulty in school and work. Anyway, I'm certain it's not disability or something else causing the problem, but the social environment.

This is a very good topic but we need to be careful here. I had to leave OffTopix forum due to my comments on this subject.o_O
So....let me say this about all of that.

I am 100% straight but can live with the idea of people being gay. Where I have a bit of an issue is with transgenders. If a man pretends to be a woman, I feel that I should not be forced to pretend along with him. ☠️

A contributing factor can also be the household where such people grow up. But why will someone who is not gay be having homophobia though?

Yeah, both sides in the US are highly narrow-minded. Like I posted a kid's dinosaur pic that looked like Trump on my Facebook page, ha ha.

The truth is in most cases you do not have to be gay to have this. There are cases where some might get disgusted by the idea to the point where they become homophobic.

I don't have issue with gay but why should a man try to pretend to be a woman. It's never fair and it's a fear that I have the nauseous when I saw a man doing like a woman.

I believe we need to love everyone. Even if we don't agree with there sexuality.

I have a brother in law who is gay. He lives with his soon to be husband. I still love them.
