Getting shocked by electricity?

I used to mess around with electricity and wires with live current years ago when I was still a teenager. I was having the mindset that I was going to become an electrical engineer when I become an adult.

There was one unfortunate day for me when I was trying to fix minor blown fuse and I was shocked. It was a weird feeling I couldn't understand. It was the last day I ever touched anything wire or have any thoughts of becoming an electrical engineer.

Have you been shocked by electricity?

I used to know a girl who always wore clothes that shocked you

She lived next door, and when she came out to hug me or what ever, I'd always get shocked by her clothing

I eventually would be scared of her coming near me. It didn't really hurt, it was just unpleasant

I remember using my phone charger and the wires were showing slightly as I needed a new one.
I was lying in bed and my wire shocked me. It wasn't bad, it was just a sting but I got a charger as soon as I could the next day.

There have been times when I have felt a shock coming from something such as a charger if the wires are showing when the wire is wearing down and I need a new one but it has never been anything too bad when I have been shocked, more like a funny feeling and you realize and move your hand.

I normally do all of the electrical work around my house and have taken a few Zaps through out the years. I do try to turn the power off to outlets or light fixtures when replacing or working on them but sometimes I just try to do it on the fly.. ZAP!

I have never touching any electrical stuffs in my which needs repairing. I have seen someone who was electrocuted and he died instantly. I have also see a goat which went into a transformer and was electrocuted too. I have had the fear of being electrocuted which is why I don't near anything electric.

I've been zapped by my smartphone charge once. I cannot explain how it felt but it wasn't anything serious for me to worry about.

Mobile phone chargers cannot zap you in any way it's going to be harmful. I have seen tech people who uses their tongue to touch the mouth of the charger USB in order to know if it's working. If it's harmful, they will not be doing that with their tongue.

I was a first grader when I first experienced what it was like getting an electricity shock. I used to be in a boarding school and one day all the boys decided to see what it likes to touch the electric wire. I am not sure if anyone actually touched it but when I touched I got a weird feeling of zzzz. It was a very light shock.

Electricity is not what someone should joke with as a result of how fatal it can be when the voltage is too much for the person to withstand. My mother knew and made sure me and all of my siblings never had any business with anything electrical.

I had such a case once in childhood, but it was not very serious. I tried to always be careful, but one day when I was alone at home, I decided to check if in fact if you stick a plug into the socket it can cause a shock and I tried and I was shocked by electricity, but for some reason it was not very strong and in 5 minutes I came to my senses

Nope. Being one who deals with live wires I was early enough trained not to be careless. I always wear protective gear and other tools to stay safe.

Some years back while i was still in school, i had an ear piece that if not properly arranged, it usually sends some small shocks . Because of this people always rejected using my ear piece.

I remember when I was trying to fix my socket some years ago and I mistakenly touched the iron part of the screwdriver. I got shocked and since then I have always been careful when using electrical appliances. I never told anyone about it, by the way.

Thankfully, I have never experienced a serious electrical shock. The closest I've come was getting a mild static electricity zap from touching a metal surface on a dry day. While unpleasant, it was not at all dangerous. I'm very cautious when it comes to electricity and always make sure to follow proper safety protocols.

I'm a bit of a handyman and love to fix things. I have been shocked a few times when testing things out but never very badly.

I have never experienced this because my parents did not allow me to get close to electrical appliances when I was a child. They always warned me about what could happen, so I never felt such pain

It has happened to me during my childhood because I was not careful during that time and used to experience these things even daily

I have only experienced minor electric shocks. I have never experienced an electric shock that is serious enough to affect any part of my body. Electric shocks could be very traumatizing though.

No I have shocked by heater but once and its just minor and I think becoming an electrical engineer was not easy because your life is always at risk
