Does battery apps on smartphones make any difference?

There are so many apps in there smartphones that claim to help you save your battery. However, I feel that those apps are overhyped and really don't make any much of a difference in battery drain of smartphones.

Do you use battery saving apps? Do you think they make any difference?

There was one I downloaded some time back to help with my battery health, I believe there was very little difference but the effect did not last long. I am yet to come across an app that would really work to my taste.

Yes, they do. But usually they will reduce your phone's performance to improve the battery life. They also extend battery life by closing background apps

There's something I observed since I started using my new phone, I think that the way you started using your phone from the day you bought is the way it will be. I am using battery saver and it has been helping me phone.

I've never been interested in making use of any of such applications because I know that they are not really doing much other than occupying space on my smartphone.

If your smartphone is constantly connected to the internet that is what drains your battery faster.
