I have seen several cases where a person's personality changes when gaming. For some naturally they are not the competitive type, but when it comes to gaming they are always competitive. Back then I remember I used to get a little bit aggressive in a game after I must have experienced failure in a particular level or stage several times.

As a gamer, it is very understandable and relatable. People usually say that the true colors of a person is revealed when he is gaming, so I do believe that a person's real trait is often shown when he is losing or things are not going well for you in the game.

It's the opposite for me because in reality I can be a bit evil but when I start playing games I'm very cheerful and because of that I do a lot of bad things just to cheer myself up but some players can get mad at me because it can interfere with their winning the game

I wouldn't say I experience a dramatic change in personality, but gaming does allow me to embrace different aspects of myself. In competitive games, I tend to become more intense and laser-focused on outplaying my opponents.

Wow that's a unique personality you have there. Maybe you should be playing games nonstop so that you will always be cheerful throughout the day!

When I play PES soccer, I become a naturally tactical person when on the game. I cut a frustrated figure when I am being beaten very well. I switch to a motivated person when I can equalise and have a chance of winning. It is all the different emotions that make gaming worthwhile.

I can absolutely relate with this. I will just turn to pep guardiola whenever I'm playing PES on PlayStation. From winning to equalizing to losing, there are a roller coaster of emotions that go through me.

I remember when I was paying grand theft auto vice city for the first time. I was playing the mission where I had to use a speed boat. I can't really remember much of the details, but I failed multiple times, i instantly turned into the hulk 😂😂

Truly, there some stages in the game that one can spend a lot of time on without achieving any tangible for that time period. It tends to get annoying.

I swear, the games that suffered me the most is GTA vice city, and GTA San Andreas. Legend of Zelda also gave me issues back then as well.

I don't have any gaming experience. I have never been into gaming. But I have seen my daughter playing games and she choses the personality that matches hers in real life. She has shared with me that sometimes she lets the characters push their boundaries and go out of their comfort zone. So, she is actually going through a different aspect of her life in her games.

Actually you are right and most at times I get a little bit aggressive but I do not stressed my self on any particular game because no matter what I used to search on Google or YouTube in other to figure it out

Whether one plays a game, online or offline, one plays it with the motto to win. The results might not go in your favour but you try your level best to win. So, a bit of aggressiveness is surely expected in any game. And you do get adrenaline rush.

That's true, our aim when we play games is to win @arunima25 no matter the reason we play it. When it's becoming frustrating, I simply take a few breaks before trying again @Amdhone3qq

Actually it was recently I started taking few breaks in other to figure it out on YouTube or Google instead but I then I will just keep trying again and again till I am totally frustrated sometimes I even sleep off without eating in the night@eldavis

@eLdavis . That's a good thing to do. You have the choice to take a break in between the online games and one should do that if you feel that you are getting agressive or loosing your cool. That would be good for your mental and emotional health. Staying aggressive for too long comes with negative impacts for your overall health.

Exactly, I had a lot of frustrating moments where I was playing most of the mobile GTA games. Some of the missions just seem impossible. After taking a break I notice it became a lot easier to pass some of them.

@eLdavis . Taking a break is a wise way to distract yourself. If you are in mid of anything that gets too overwhelming and stuck, one should just take a break. It clears off the mind and also gives a fresh perspective that one can't see when the brain and thoughts are too occupied.

True, I can't remember where I saw it, but I think there was a research that says if you are finding it hard to learn something or in this case you are stock trying to do something, having a good sleep helps a lot. After sleeping, things becomes a lot easier.
