Do you use a tablet?

I recently purchased a new tablet because there is an online course I need to study which having a tablet will make it very easy for me getting on the course wherever I am instead of having to carry my laptop around all the time.

What is the brand of tablet that you purchased and how much you paid for it? I would really like to know the specification to know if it is something that I'm even going to consider buying for my cousin for as his Christmas present.
