Oh I believe that is reaching for too much. There's no way artificial intelligence can evolve to the point where we start communicating with animals. I can't see that happening.

I think that would be really cool because we could then improve our relationship with animals. Maybe we could create something together. I think we could ask animals for a favor and they could also ask for help but it would take a very long time

May be because Artificial intelligence has so many potentials and for the technology to reach the humanity stage of understanding with animals it will take a long of time because up to now the are still programming and most of the country's haven't approved the official using of it

Yes, AI may be able to help us to understand the animal behaviour but understanding animals emotions, thoughts cannot be fine out by AI or it will be very challenging. Animals have different ways to communicate and I don't think AI can decode all of them.
