Christmas 2024!

Merry Christmas!

Do you prefer a laptop or a desktop?

I have been using a laptop for the last 14 years. However, I am now thinking about custom building a desktop computer. The only thing that makes a laptop good is its portability. Other wise, desktop computers are far better. I started using laptop when I decided to work online and explore online earning opportunities.

I have never had a personal computer and my first computer was a laptop, so now I prefer it, but it is not always convenient and I would like to have a larger screen and also much more powerful, but laptops are convenient to take with me on a trip, so I want to have both

My choice would definitely and always be a laptop. Having a laptop is a lot more easier to move around, especially the modern laptops we have today that are extremely slim and light, making it easier to carry around.

They are indeed more convenient, but they are much more expensive than computers, and they also do not have the potential for upgrading as computers have. I also like laptops more, but this is their big minus

They are more expensive than desktops, but the benefits of making use of it will definitely be bigger than anything that you are going to do with a desktop.

I know about the advantages, but they are not always so obvious to me. For example, when I want to watch a movie, the minus for me is a small screen and a keyboard with a touchpad, which interfere with the overall appearance.

I prefer laptops as they take up so little room on my workdesk.

Laptop please, because it is portable and flexible which means it is easier to carry around, something you can't do with your a PC. Moreover I live in a place where there is occasional power issues, I might lose my work if there happens to be a sudden light out. You wouldn't have to worry about all that if it is a laptop.

For general use, I prefer laptops for their portability and convenience. But for intense tasks like gaming or video editing, desktops offer more powerful hardware.

I don't have a laptop, but I would like to have one because it is not so convenient to leave the house with a PC and therefore I have to use only a smartphone, which is inconvenient. I would feel much freer with a laptop, so I think it is necessary to have both

It is not about being not so convenient, it is practically impossible to carry a desktop computer all around isn't it? So it is better to get a laptop computer, you can still use it when you are outside and there's no power.

I have owned both but I prefer a PC more because I guess its better than a laptop and inexpensive too so my vote goes to a personal computer, the only reason why you prefer laptop is you can easily move out with it

I prefer laptop now a days because it requires no space and can be placed anywhere unlike desktop which required a table to place it. Though desktop is cheaper and has low maintenance cost I still prefer a laptop.

Most people who work online usually use a laptop computer. This is because sometimes it is not all of them that work from home, some have office space outside, so it will not be convenience to be carrying desktop all around. But with the laptop you can work online anyway you are.

I still prefer my desktop even though I have both because some how I am more comfortable working with my desktop

That's true. When people have a travelling job, laptop is a good option. They can carry it to where they go. People even when they are travelling in a bus or car can work on the laptop , this is the main advantage of using a laptop.

Laptop, because I'm all about portability and the minimalistic design of it all.
Portability is the goal for me, I won't want anything to take up too much space, and it should be something I can easily move around just in case of anything. So laptop is the best choice.

Exactly, a laptop makes it easier to work wherever you are and whenever you wish.

Its about with which you are more comfortable and I am more comfortable with a personal computer and I am sticking with it
