Do you have many friends as an adult?

Something I have noticed as I have gotten older is how small my friend circle has become. I find that I have fewer friends now that I am an adult, but they are friends that I know I can trust, and that, just like me, they also prefer to avoid stress and drama.

It is a random thing that occurs as we grow older. I disengaged with some of my childhood friends as the phase changes. My circle of friends are not many and I am not worried about it.

I have acquaintances in adult life and a good social circle at work and in the neighborhood where I live. But I won't call them as close friends. My close friends are few and they have stayed the same for decades. They are from my college days. Though we live far from each other and don't meet or talk regularly, we start from where we left whenever we meet.

This time, I still have many friends, and when the time comes that they will not like me anymore, so be it, I can live without them , as long as I have money and family.

Though friends are important and if you get a true friend consider that to be a blessing. I am blessed to have few friends who have been a blessing for me. It's two way relationship. I am always there with them too. It won't be same without them. But I am very confident that I will live well even without any friends. I find happiness in every little thing. And I am happy with friends or without friends.

I don't have many friends. My kids are my friends and we talk a lot even if something is bothering me, I tell it to them.

No I don't have friends as of now. It happens with everyone, as we grow up and have our own family , we cannot afford to give time to friends and ultimately the relationship fades. I used to have lots of friend in childhood which now have just converted in to acquittance and nothing more than that.
