Where are they? Do you use them? Do you feel they ruin the fun? Why might desperate situations make people use them that otherwise would not?

While completing the game or reaching certain level still count as an achievement for me, I do not use cheat guides to level up or complete the game. I do not play games to boast about my achievements, I play to enjoy, therefore, I do not use cheat guides while playing games, I have used just once.

There was only one case when I downloaded cheats. It was a case when I was playing CS 2, and whoever played it also understands how many players there are with such cheats. And I got tired of it, so I decided to download it as well, but turn it on only when the same player came across against me, and in order to balance the match, I also turned it on

I have used cheats before though on most games I have played. I have never used cheats to skip a level, I have only used cheats to add life to my character or make them invisible to some certain extent.

Cheat guides are all over the internet these days, just a quick search away. I'll admit, I've used them from time to time when I'm really stuck on a puzzle or boss fight. But I try to avoid them as much as possible on my first playthrough. They can definitely take away some of the fun and sense of accomplishment.

Games should be played for fun, so when someone starts using some cheat codes in order to win, then the fun is all lost to me. I will just stop the game and will probably never play with such a person again.

I have used cheats codes a few times on some games, and I still play it for fun.

Actually I wonder why other people used cheat guide when playing games in other to reach certain level.

For me I preferred to play games so hard in other to reach certain level and boost achievement than to used cheat guide
