And my answer is a big NO. I am yet to come across a chatbot that is effective like a human customer care. They are apparently replacing human beings in customer care. And we hardly see any human interactions happening on customer care front these days. In the last four days, I had several concerns as a customer on four different platforms. And I got chatbot on each. I remember having concerns on these platforms earlier too and they were resolved by human beings on other side with courtsey, human touch and a clear understanding. But nothing this time. They ate all my time, could not resolve the issue and went in the same loop like a broken record. Result...a frustrated customer, unresolved issues, wasted hour ( literally) and my mental peace gone for a toss. I ended up even calling them stupid.
I think it's too early to completely replace all the human with these chatbots.
