Prank Call
Season: 6
Episode: 14
Air date: 1996-01-28

Guest stars: Adam Welsh
After the new phone book is delivered, the boys decide to call someone, and start repeatedly terrorizing a guy named Harry Sachz with prank calls from the bathroom. Harry gets caller ID and traces the call to Butt-head...who gives him Stewart's address.

Pretty hilarious episode. B&B are at their best when they unintentionally get jerkass people into karmic comeuppance, in this case, Stewart's cowardly father.

Prank calls are usually low-hanging fruit, Simpson-level of comedy, but the guy who got pranked was a lunatic a-hole, so it's fine. Plus, B&B's ridiculous prank of putting the toilet noise over the speaker was great.

Also, in one of their reaction segments to Bon Jovi's "Something For the Pain" music video, Beavis kicked Butt-Head in the nutsack - twice - for slapping him after Beavis admitted to liking a small part of Bon Jovi's song. Always fun to see Beavis stand up to Butt-Head.

Beavis and Butt-head attend a Parent-Teacher Association meeting and make a few suggestions on how to improve their education.

Beavis and Butt-Head attend a PTA meeting and exposed the violent tendencies of teacher discipline. See, that would have never happened in Singapore; parents love to spank their kids around here. We even used to sell little rattan canes around here for parents in grocery stores. Though you don't see them as often anymore, I wouldn't be surprised if certain parents had maintained the honorary Asian parenting traditions. lol

Still, I'm a bit mixed when it comes to corporal punishment. On the other hand, I hated how it affected my childhood and made me estranged from my parents. On the other hand, as you can see from this episode, the parent leniency has led to rotten brats like Beavis and Butt-Head. lol

Speaking of those brats, they insulted Pink Floyd in one of their reaction segments (for the "High Hopes" music video). For shame. Shut your mouth, you little twerps before I kick your ass.

Substitute

After Van Driessen falls off his desk and lands in the hospital, the class gets a substitute teacher -- until he falls off the desk, too.

Mr. Van Driessen and the substitute proving once again that the education system of this show is dumb as hell, enabling students like Beavis and Butt-head to make fools out of 'em.
