What was your favorite thing about the place you grew up?
Probably the safety of it all. Much as I complain about how boring Singapore is, at least we don't have guns around here, and our murder rate is definitely at a far lower statistic than other first-world countries. It's perfectly safe to walk around at 3am at night to visit your local 24/7 mini-mart, for example (though the existence of cockroaches means that I still wouldn't be interested in doing so).

Plus, our public transport's clean, and it's pretty easy, especially nowadays, to travel from one point of the country to another, what with all those new train lines.

What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
Between shoplifting Beyblades and almost getting arrested or spending almost $1,000 on a mobile game? Probably the latter. At least the shoplifting taught me some life lessons; the latter just burned my wallet.

I'd say confessing to my crush in Secondary School in front of the whole class (not that I intended to; it just happened that way) with chocolates and a rose on Valentine's Day could also make that list. It went about as well as you'd expect. I pretty much didn't confess to another girl ever again.

What are you looking forward to most this year?
Finishing Attack on Titan. I finished season 3 just a few months ago, so I'll be watching The Final Season very soon.

There's also Sopranos, also the final season waiting for me. I'll also be starting some other HBO shows for the first time too, like Six Feet Under and Deadwood. Good stuff coming up for my TV schedule.

What fictional character do you most relate to?
That's a tough question because it would mean admitting my own insecurities and flaws. Probably somewhere between a mix of Takumi Nishijo from Chaos;Head (nerd knowledge of TV shows, movies and comics; insecure hikikomori who has trouble talking to women offline), Daria Morgendorffer (cynical and somewhat misanthropic), and throw in some BoJack Horseman energy in there (but less toxic and self-destructive, no alcohol involved, but also similar parental issues).

I don't know. It's challenging to give a clear answer because my memory is so selective. lol And there's like dozens of fictional characters I know who might relate to me one way or another.

What would you like to accomplish before the year is over?
Hopefully I could finish Attack on Titan: The Final Season at least. It's got three parts (technically, two parts and two final movies), so it's not gonna be an easy binge. Unfortunately, I'm so distracted lately with my procrastination so I hardly made much progress with my TV shows over the past two or three days. Hopefully, that will change. lol

Once I'm done with Sopranos season 6 though, there's only one TV show left on my bucket list of "Top Prestige TV Show I Need to Watch" (which is Mad Men, only seen five seasons so far), since I already finished watching The Wire and Breaking Bad recently, over the past six months.

One day, any superpower. What's yours, and when do you hit the 'on' switch?
Reality warping. Easy. I hit the on switch immediately and reshape my life into that of a successful billionaire living in comfort and immortality (without the aging or sickness part that comes with the deal). It's the "cheat" of superpowers because you could just use it to grant yourself any other powers, like immortality.

So technically, if I have a genie that can only grant me one superpower, that's what I would wish for - to become as powerful as the genie, but without the shackles, kinda like the Scarlet Witch, or rather, The Beyonder and The One Above All - a living god, if you will.

Comedy or drama movies?
Drama. Never been one for comedies as I take myself too seriously. I enjoy some comedies that are over-the-top enough to make it funny (like Nichijou and Gintama), or cynical comedies that make fun of society (like most of Ricky Gervais stuff), but usually, I prefer drama that focuses on the human condition, heavy stuff that ponders on our everyday lives if you will.

Though to be honest, I really prefer sci-fi and thrillers in terms of genres.

Is there something you wish everybody knew about you without you having to tell them?
Probably how sensitive I can be. I do keep a lot of dark secrets though that I'd rather people not know, but in terms of secrets I do wish people know, maybe just the harmless stuff that strangers couldn't abuse like my favorite food and TV shows, or maybe how I genuinely feel about certain fictional characters so I don't have to spend two hours writing a thesis on why Spider-Man and Cap's relationship not explored in the MCU was a giant waste.

Knowing the kind of person I'm attracted to without me saying it out loud might help me get a date too. Just saying. *shrug*
