But what can we gain from such discussion? Those royals don't care one bit anyway.While some view royals as outdated, their historical influence is evident in the names of many places, like Canadian provinces and US states. Rather than seeing this as "cancel culture," it can be an opportunity to discuss and understand our history and its impact on today's society.

Fair enough, folk don't choose their birth circumstances but privilege by birthright is still wrong. I also don't get the concept of Royal Protocol whereby we are expected to behave before them in a certain way and to regard them as our superiors or 'betters'.
Get real, they're just people like the rest of us.
