Was there any movie released recently that you wanted to watch in the theatre but missed it?

I was eagerly waiting for the release of "Tanvi, the Great in theaters. It's a movie based on true story of a girl Tanvi who is on Autism Spectrum and goes all the way out to achieve her Extraordinary dream despite all the challenges. The movie was released two weeks back and received very positive response from audience. It even caught attention and accolades on International platforms. I couldn't watch it as it was not in any of the theatre in nearby area. It was just in one theater in the city that's too far and it had just one show daily at very odd hours. Now, when I check it to book tickets for this weekend, I don't see it playing anywhere.
Sometimes, I feel sad for some really good movies getting lost in the flood of commercial cinema.
Now, I am waiting for it to be released on OTT platforms. I hope that I get to see it soon.

Seems like you are too caught up with your obligations to go and watch movies. Sometimes we get so busy that we find it tough to squeeze out time to do something that we wish for. Many local movies are coming up with beautiful stories and well made movies, much better than the commercial Bollywood and Hollywood.

It is not just obligations, these days we have a lot of choices for entertainment. We can go to a movie, or stream at home, we can play games or watch movies and TV shows. We might even spend hours scrolling social media feed as a form of entertainment.

That would have been Superman for me. I really wanted to go see it in the cinema after my brother and mum saw it and said how good it was, but due to IRL, I missed it, so I will have to wait for it to release so I can watch it at home.

That’s the great thing about streaming though, we can actually get the movies that we did not see because we were away later on.

Yes. And it is cheaper way to get entertained. Going to movie theaters can be a real expensive affair these days. Plus, we can watch them at our convenience. There are movies that I have watched over few seating and not in one go as I had other things to do in between
