If your family is not ready to go to Canada then you won't be able to go if you think that you will love with your family in future. Sikhs are always preferred in Canada because they have lots of population of the same and when you have relatives there, you have an advantage.
 
Even I am not wholeheartedly ready to move and have no such plans and its just that I won't mind moving to Canada if there is an opportunity and of course my family agrees and ready to move with me
