He couldn't even accomplish his mission before he died? That's so unfortunate. Dude ended up dying for nothing.

Maybe he wanted to be famous as the 1st Kenyan to climb Mt.Everest? So far 5 have died this climbing season, about 300 in total. There are frozen bodies everywhere and you have to climb past them. At this altitude helicopters cannot fly up to bring them back down. There is no air for the helicopter blades to bite into. And there they lie, as stiff as a board like frozen fish. Some are frozen sitting down, others lying down with all of their climbing gear on, perfectly preserved 20 or 30 and even 50 years after they died. There are a few frozen women up there too.

George Mallory died on June 6, 1924 on Everest, and there he is looking as good as the day he died.

A dead Kenyan mountaineer has been found at the top of Mount Everest. Joshua Cheruiyot Kirui, forty, and Nawang Sherpa, forty-four, his Nepali guide, disappeared on Wednesday while Mr. Kirui was attempting to become the first African climb Mount Everest without the use of oxygen.
