Yes you are right because there was a time some persons said something like this. He said once the government comes in, they no longer care about their responsibility to the people, so during election is the only time they can eat from the government.
Those envious politicians must not run in politics of their intention is to cheat or betray people's trust. The root cause of the problem is envy which is why we always hear killing of a worthy politician. They're greedy of power and money to corrupt once they win through vote buying.
But the thing is can this actually be stopped? You can't really stop them from running as long as they have godfathers and so on who run the show at the background.
We cannot stop them, they are the only ones who can do it. Just like recently, because of envy, one attempted assassination happened for former US President Ronald Trump. I am so thankful to God that Trump is safe and the attacker was killed by the US Service Intelligence Sniper.
It's well, we just have to play our roles of voting for who is the right choice. If in the end they decide to rig the election to favor the wrong person, then that's on them. You have played your part.
What matters is not to beat the bush because of envy causing bad impact to our society especially in the election affairs. There are also neighbors of ours having envious eyes. They better do something to improve their lives financially.
