Because you were feeling happy, did you tip a lot?

Fortunately I am a happy go lucky kind of person. My tipping is not related to my mood. I tip to support and encourage a good service. If I have a happy news, I like to share with as many people as possible in a good way. When my daughter got in to her dream college, I shared sweets with all the workers in my apartment like the housekeeping, security guard etc. I also donated some grocery items to on Old Age Home. That's how I celebrate happy occasions.

That's really nice, but what really annoys me is when they start asking you to tip them and make it seem like it's their right.

Oh! That can be really annoying. I know that they have their own reasons to do so as some come from very poor background. But then it's not right. Tip has to come out from your willingness to do so when you are happy with the service. It's not a compulsion and should not be forced or begged for.

Yes that's true, some might be having some issues. But this kind of attitude can actually drive customers. Like I normally call for home delivery when I refill my gas, but anytime they do this the delivery man is always asking for tips for recharge card or something, and I have already paid the delivery fee. And am the type who doesn't like saying no or I don't have so, so most times when I give them it ends up affecting my expenses. I had to stop home delivery due to this.

The delivery man is not being professional by demanding for tips. Tipping should be done willingly, if you didn't want to tip you can decide not to, for the sake of your finances.
