Even I am aware that when I'm feeling good, I might tip the driver more in a cab because I want to spread the good vibes, and money can surely do that. It wasn't always good for me because I didn't always have enough money for tips, and those are fleeting moments that I often regretted.

Yes most time when am Happy I do tip, but even when am not and the driver probably does not have change to give me, I usually leave the change with the driver cause I don't really have the strength to start arguing or looking for change.

Me tipping does not actually depend on my mood, it depends on how loaded I am at that particular time. If I'm the happiest person on the planet and I don't have much on me, of course I wouldn't be able to give a tip.

That is the best thing to do. It is always said that we should be careful of our actions when we are happy, so we don't end up regretting it. Tipping should be based on your financial capacity, not the mood at that time.

True, I tend to tip when I really enjoyed someone's service to me, and that's not something I experience everytime. So I don't have to be tipping every now and then. There's no funds!

You may be mistaken there. Tipping is not giving to people that do not deserve it. Giving money to people because they ask for it is not tipping. Tipping is what you willingly give someone because you enjoyed their service. Have you not done that before?

I normally tip depending on how good the service is. For instance when I am going out to eat, I normally tip 20% on average service, maybe 25-30% if it is well above the standard, and 10-15% if it is below. I don't really take my mood into account on how much I tip.

That's how it should be. The tipping should not be based on your personal emotions, but on the services of the service providers. Otherwise one would end up draining the wallet everytime they are happy?

That's true!!
I would never want my wallet to be empty. Whenever a waiter expects a tip but the service provided is below expectations, I don't give the tip, and why should one? Sometimes the service provider thinks that it's his or her right to get a tip from the customer.
