A hint at a possible new instalment of Spyro the Dragon has been teased by the official Spyro the Dragon Twitter/X account. The tweet in question features a screenshot of the fan-favourite dragon with the words "You gotta believe." this was also followed with accompanying text saying "2024 motto," and has fueled speculation that a new Spyro game could be releasing at some point this year.
If you are a fan of Spyro the Dragon you will know that we have not had any news since the Reignited Trilogy was released in 2018. This makes the teaser we have gotten not only exciting but also very unexpected for fans.
With Spyro being associated with Activision Blizzard and Toys for Bob which is now under Microsoft's ownership, this raises the possibility that the next Spyro game may very well be an Xbox exclusive.
