Why Australia is impressive in different sports?

Everyone witnessed how good Aussies are in the recently concluded Paris Olympics and from many years they are doing great in Cricket and hockey and other sports it's all because of their winning mindset and they like to win at any cost and do anything and everything to achieve success.

Maybe they spend lots of money on the coaching of their players. They have good infrastructure, and the kids focus more on sports, unlike in India, where the parents of the kids ask them to focus more on their studies, even though their kid has the potential to do well in sports.

Australia is not impressive in different sports just because of their winning mindset. It is simply because they have invested very much in their sports. Check all the sports, and you would see that Australia have a well structured and developed league for each of them, why won't they excel?

I am a fan of their attitude and how they handle things. It could be they are brought up like that and that helps them excel in sports

India can afford to invest more into their athletes but Government is not interested in doing that and the whole focus is on cricket

Aussies even start to cheat like they have done numerous times in cricket and I am sure in other sports as they cannot tolerate to loss
