I think that everyone should watch Breaking Bad. It's one of the best TV shows. Honestly, I think the show is better than Game of Thrones.
I’d recommend that everyone should watch Jack Ryan or Reacher. Both shows are really good.

I have heard a lot about Breaking Bad but it is not a TV show I have checked out myself. Will be one I add to my list and get around to when I have some time

Agreed. The strength of Breaking Bad over other prestige TV like The Sopranos and Mad Men is that it's consistently good. Not only is the morally ambiguous protagonist compelling (though let's be honest, Walt is a scumbag hypocrite), not only are the cliffhangers as amazing as any high-production Hollywood movies, but there were rarely bad episodes, almost none. Even The Wire kinda struggled a little bit with its fifth season.
Speaking of which:
Seconded. I remember thinking after finishing season 5 of the series recently that every school should make this show a compulsory viewing because it's just so relevant to society in terms of exploring the institutional rot that exist in every modern society, not just the drug trade, but also the shipping ports, the politics, the education system, and of course, the news media with its questionable take on "truth in journalism."
If I had to recommend two TV shows that everyone should watch, I'd say start with Breaking Bad and then immediately dive into Better Call Saul. Breaking Bad is a masterpiece of storytelling, character development, and suspense. And Better Call Saul is no mere spin-off; it's a fantastic show in its own right, expanding the Breaking Bad universe in surprising and meaningful ways. Binging them back-to-back would be the ultimate experience.
I don't really have much interest in TV shows but I have some movies I downloaded in my phone that I will see during the weekend.
