Protein Intake

Protein is an essential part of our diet and it's the building block of our body. Whether you are trying to loose weight or build muscle mass, a protein rich diet is recommended. Many people around the globe who are fitness freak are going for diet routines that are focused on a low carb and protein rich diet. Many protein powders have businesses with soaring high profit as more and more fitness freak people and those going for muscle building consume these powders regularly. But then one has to be aware that even the most beneficial nutrients need to be taken in adequate amount. Recent studies have shown that many people in recent times are developing kidney diseases as they take excess of protein in the name of staying fit. This is putting their kidneys under extra work pressure and the kidneys are ruined in young age. Youths in their early 30s are developing renal problems due to excessive protein intake. These are on rise and can be seen as an alarming sign.
How about you? Are you taking adequate amount of protein or overdoing it? Are you getting your protein supplements from diet or going for those fancy protein powders in the market?
