Tomas Ledin means everything to me. He has shown me that life is worth living.
Fela Kuti has to be mine. His music speaks about African realities with deep African sounds and contemporary messages. His spirit continues to inspire many even though he's gone.
This would have to be BTS. My daughter and I found out about BTS in 2019, not too long before the COVID-19 pandemic and even though things had to stop in terms of in-person events, BTS still continued to push content out that kept us going despite what was going on in the world.
The early days of the pandemic were the worst to deal with, having to stay separated from family and even friends.
They always say that you find BTS at a time in your life that is difficult, and that just happened to be the case for me and my daughter.
