Google Doodle celebrates Indonesia's Independence day today with a very attractive and colourful presentation. It shows parading men and women in traditional outfits with the Indonesian flag. And one can see some colourful traditional Indonesian designs in the background.
Indonesia got its independence from Netherlands on 17th August, 1945. The country celebrates it every with some programs showcasing their culture and colourful parades.
Wishing all our friends here from Indonesia Happy Independence Day. May your country stays blessed and keeps prospering .

The saddest thing is I don't remember of anyone on this website who is from Indonesia. Anyways Happy Independence day to them

Is a memorable day for Indonesians and congratulations to all Indonesians across the globe wish them to witnessed many more ahead

I think that reminds me of my country's independence day that usually comes in the 12th of December, every year. The police forces with their ceremonial uniforms seems very appealing and attractive to look at in the truth of the matter

Oh! I was not aware that we don't have any user here who is from Indonesia. We have users from Indonesia on the other forums. I simply assumed that some might be here too. Anyways, I have posted and wished them on one other forum too.

Which means India and Indonesia have their independence in the same month. That's nice though. My country's own is in October.

Yes, there are quite a few countries celebrating their independence day in August. There is some country that has it on 15th August, same as India. The name just slipped off my mind. I read about it. I will check and let you know.

In fact, not only one, five countries share their independence day with India. They got independence in different years but share the same day 15th August with India. South Korea, North Korea, Republic of Congo, Bahrain and Leichenstan share the same independence day.
You should look out. There might be countries with independence day in October.

It was a surprise for me too. It seems many countries have their independence in August. I came to know of Indonesia's Independence day only through Google Doodle. Then I went to check further to find these countries. Online has become the source of so many information that we didn't know.

Independence day is an achievement for any country but China doesn't have one as they were never ruled by the British. I am not interested in history but this means China was always powerful that it was never under any influence
