Movies How long is too long for a movie?

I have come across movies that are not up to an hour long, then there are some that are close to two hours, three hours and even four hours. For me, I don't mind how long a movie is, the most important thing is that the plot makes sense. It would be so annoying watching a movie for three hours and the plot is wack, acting is also worse.

For me, any movies that is more than two hours is a waste of time for me. What exactly are they doing for 120 minutes that the film has not ended yet? That is why I don't usually watch indian movies because they are too long.

Once it gets to 3 hours it is getting ridiculous. This is why we enjoy watching YouTube movies because you can pause it and all you have to do is to mark where you left off, and return to it at your convenience.

Hahaha I don't mind watching a movie that is three hours long @Teegold and @Mad Hatter. This is one of the reasons I prefer watching seasonal films most times cause the longer the run time, it gives the characters enough time to grow, but not all films are worth the time though.

I think a 3-hour movie is way too much! By the second hour, I am wishing that the movie was already over. Matter of fact I don't rent movies that are over 2 hrs.

What about the Zack Snyder justice league, it was over four hours, did you watch it?

I watched famous movies that last more than 2 and a half hours and it was not bad for me. However, I recently watched Killers of the Flower Moon and it was too long a movie. It lasts more than 3 hours and in my opinion it is already too much, even though the film is very good

I like movies that are less than 120 minutes, any thing lnger than that woud be too borng for me. that's the reasin why I never liked Lord of the rings

more than 3 hours it is already very difficult. Of course, the film can be interesting, but I don't always even have that much free time, so I wouldn't want to break the film into two parts, because it spoils the atmosphere of this film

I can understand not having enough free time to watch a movie that is extremely long, but you don't always have to watch it all at once. Most times it takes me more than one day to watch and complete a movie.

I think most of the movies are just about 2 hour's and I think its okay because for me not everyone will like to watch long movies and I have come a cross many long movies but I haven't watched them all

Interesting and good movies should be longer because we don't get enough of these and other movies should be shorter . Longer will be more than 3 hours

I prefer movies that are max 2 hours and beyond that it will be boring and thankfully these days we don't see many long movies and most movies are only 2 or 2.5 hours
