How do you celebrate your festivals???

Actually almost most the people used to celebrate their festivals at the village and that's same process under goes in my state but I don't know why some peoples don't want to travel to their villages in terms of such occasions but for me we used to travel to the villages in most our festivals.
what about how you celebrate your own??

I don't celebrate festivals in my village because we migrated from the village many years ago and my father stays here in the city itself, so we celebrate all our festivals here only. Also, now that my grandparents are not alive, there is no need to go to the village only to celebrate festivals.

People don't travel for occasions like this for some many reasons. Over here most people believe their village people are filled with witches and the likes, hence they are extremely careful when it comes to things like this and would rather not visit or attend.
