Do you like movies with a lot of special effects? Do you think special effects make a movie interesting. Well, I believe special effects can transport audiences to fantastical worlds or enhance realism in historical dramas. When seamlessly integrated, they complement storytelling, immersing viewers in the narrative without overshadowing it. That's why these days highest earner movies are the movies with a lot of special effects.

In my opinion, this is what makes modern films very different from the past, but directors are so obsessed with special effects that sometimes it's just too much and you don't understand why they added unnecessary details. It should be done sparingly and in rational doses

They days they are making movies just to show special; effects or CGI. I do not like these movies. I believe CGI in the movies should blend with characters and the story. If the special effects are imposed in the movie and the movie does not have a great story and characters, it will fail

I do appreciate well-executed special effects in movies, as they can truly enhance the cinematic experience. However, I don't believe special effects alone are enough to make a film interesting or compelling. The most successful movies blend cutting-edge visual effects with a strong narrative, compelling characters, and thematic substance. Thoughtful integration of special effects in service of the storytelling is what truly captivates me.

In science fiction or fantasy type movies as well as horror movies, special effects are everything.

These special effects makes story telling in movies have more dept and emotions. Just as a simple background song can make a particular scene a lot more memorable.

It seems cool to me, but sometimes it's too much and they add special effects where it would be possible not to do it and then everything would look much more realistic. Sometimes they just get excited and cannot understand whether it is necessary for a certain moment or not
