Those three things mentioned are on point, and might I add that consistency is also key to getting the important things done. When one is being consistent, they will be able to accomplish great things from start to finish.
Another way to establish sustainable practices in our communities is by enlightening them to know the importance of why they need to sustain this practice. With this, they would be a lot eager to put in more effort.
You are absolutely correct. Public enlightenment is necessary because some people out there don't know what it takes to practice sustainable actions for the better of their communities. So by teaching this ones they will be able to appreciate it.
