Movie makers put a lot of effort on making movies base don historical events. I like historical movies, but sometimes I doubt the accuracy. While some movie makers take creative liberties, many films strive for authenticity, blending facts with dramatization. However, it's essential for viewers to approach historical movies critically, understanding they may not capture every detail accurately. After all entertainment is their primary motive.

If you don't think about real events, then such films are very cool, but they very often do not correspond to historical events, as you wrote. I think the directors just want to make a more pleasant scenario for the viewer

That's an interesting question. While movies can provide valuable insights into historical events, it's important to remember that they are often dramatized for entertainment purposes and may not always adhere strictly to the facts. Filmmakers sometimes take creative liberties to enhance the narrative or appeal to a wider audience. As such, I believe it's crucial to view historical movies through a critical lens and cross-reference them with reliable sources to get a more accurate understanding of the past.

When it comes to making historical movies, a lot of research is needed to be able to bring in facts, but the truth of the matter is that not all of these facts are accurate. Then again the primary purpose of any movie made today is to generate profit, so while they try to recreate history, they are still after profit. Due to this they tend to change certain things they feel might not be good for the public, and include stories or scenes to make more interesting.

Some nations make historical movies as propaganda. One needs to consider the source as history is always written by the victor.

I love such films as well, but I never paid attention to the fact that there could be some inaccuracy in the events depicted by the director. But it has a bad effect because some people can form their views based on the movie and not on real events
