Did you ever believe as a child that your toys come alive when you are not around?

As a child, when I saw the first episode of Toy Story, I immediately thought that my toys can also behave like this when I am not at home. It didn't last long, but I even tried to remember their position when I left the room and then check if they stayed in that position

I never believed this for once or thought about it. If I had, I would have thrown away the toys

I never believed in these and that will be scary for kids because they may not leave their toys anytime

I never believed in this even when my classmates talks about their own toys having to walk or do some certain things for them. I believe that they were toys and they will remain toys forever.

Yes, I did! I always made sure my stuffed animals were taken care of. I never tossed them around and will always neatly put them back together. I wanted to make sure when I walked out of my room, they were comfortable, happy and ready to mingle!

Nah, I didn't have that kind of imagination. I've always been a pretty grounded person, preferring logical explanations over unreliable supernatural ones.

This was never something I believed in but I can understand why some kids may believe that is the case. Toy Story has been a big one that has in some cases caused children to believe their toys can come alive.

Depends. Where I grew up in have these superstitions of inanimate object coming to life and it's not just toys alone. It's supernatural local folklore stuff; nothing too exciting.

If I were to believe all of my toys have this... trait. I'd be deathly afraid of owning any of them. I don't think Toys Story really has any influence in this belief of mine.
