Can movies be considered a form of art, or are they just an entertainment form. Well, movies are of course art form. Movies combine visual storytelling, sound design, and performance art to evoke emotions and convey meaning. From avant-garde experiments to mainstream blockbusters, cinema encompasses a wide spectrum of artistic expression.

In my opinion, films are definitely art because a lot of people work on it and many artists and screenwriters, they create something incredible, so it is wrong to think that it is just a show.

I have never actually considered movies as a form of art, I just see them as pure entertainment. Because that's basically what they are meant to be in the first place. But I guess one can also consider it to be art based on perspectives.

In my personal opinion, I feel movies are more of a mixture of both rather than just one. While it is a from of art it also serves entertainment purposes.

I think for the audience it's just entertainment, but for the filmmakers it's art. They compete with each other, they also come up with something new and it's hard for them to come up with a script or imagine a movie picture if they don't have inspiration and it's already art
